PRIMARY AND PREVENTATIVE CARE
Mosaic Health Center offers comprehensive, patient centered, and culturally competent health care services for adults to address non-emergency health needs. Seeing a doctor at least annually, even when you are not sick, is important to monitor your own health, catch problems before they get worse, and insure you have an ongoing relationship with a medical professional. Our Primary and Preventive Care services include regular annual checkups and physicals, lab testing to detect health problems, addressing minor illnesses and injuries, health education and monitoring, and wellness visits. Our team of providers focus on holistic health care and create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all your health needs to be addressed and understood.
LAB TESTING
As a part of your primary care visit, lab testing may be done to monitor changes in your health or detect health problems. Your doctor will order tests based on your specific needs. Mosaic Health Center can perform most testing in our on-site lab. If additional testing is needed, we can send test samples to other medical providers for analysis. Our responsive staff will always follow up with a call to confirm your lab results.
MEDICATION
During your visit, your provider may recommend medications. Mosaic Health Center has an on-site dispensary where you can get your prescriptions after your appointment. Because of our dedication to access and equity in health care, all prescriptions filled at our dispensary are FREE. If you need a refill, you can make a follow up appointment with us by calling or texting (678) 383-1383.
People who routinely see primary care doctors tend to live longer.
Seeing a doctor regularly…
-
Helps you to get blood work and other exams
-
Stay on schedule with vaccines and preventative care
-
Find illnesses or health issues you’re not aware of
-
Discuss living a healthy lifestyle
-
Monitor changes in your health over long periods of time

TIP:
Think about and create a list of any health issues you’d like to discuss before your appointment-- maybe past medical issues in your family, symptoms you’ve been experiencing, or questions about ways to be healthier in your life. Your practitioner will be happy to discuss these and coach you on your health.
