Mosaic Health Center is the premier primary and preventative health care provider for uninsured individuals in our community. Generous donors and modest patient fees support our mission to provide the high-quality health care that every human deserves. We rely on a team of expert and dedicated volunteers who are aligned in our values of access and equity in health care to remain the only full-time clinic in the area where 100% of its patients are uninsured. With over 106,000 people in DeKalb County alone lacking insurance, CCHC fills an important need by making health care accessible and affordable to all.
Whether you are a licensed provider or physician or are working toward a degree in the medical field, you can provide dignity and make a difference in the lives of our patients. Our volunteer pool is representative of the population we serve, including people with unique stories, from different countries, or speaking different languages.

NEEDS
Providers
Mosaic Health Center is currently looking for licensed medical professionals to volunteer with us. We are in high need of doctors, physicians' assistants, and nurse practitioners. The minimum commitment is 6-months. Primary care volunteers work one four-hour shift a week in the clinic, Mondays-Thursdays. Specialty care volunteers work one four-hour shift a month, generally on Saturdays. Shifts are for any four consecutive hours.
Non-Providers
Mosaic Health Center is looking for volunteers to serve as medical scribes, phlebotomists, and patient navigators. These roles offer valuable hands-on experience while helping provide quality, accessible healthcare to uninsured members of our community. Volunteers are an important part of our clinic team and help us continue serving patients with compassion, dignity, and respect.
Volunteer commitments are designed to align with the college semester schedule, and for students, breaks follow the academic calendar. Volunteers are expected to work one shift each week and may choose from morning, afternoon, or full-day shifts. Because our patients and staff depend on consistency, we ask that volunteers carefully consider their availability before committing and remain available for the full length of the commitment period.

Individuals
Throughout the year, we have done in a day volunteer opportunities available where we gather a group and work on a specific project such as gardening or clinic organization. Always a fun day filled with fellowship, the support of volunteers for these activities contributes to the overall clinic experience and is both important to our staff and patients. Corporate
