As Need for Affordable Healthcare Expands, Mosaic Looks to Broaden Impact
CLARKSTON, GA – Mosaic Health Center, the premier primary and preventive healthcare provider for uninsured individuals in the metro-Atlanta area, has hired its first Director of Development. Maria Antonetti is a non-profit professional with over a decade of nonprofit and business management experience and was most recently at Aurora Theatre in Lawrenceville, GA. Mosaic Health Center, which in 2025 had a yearly revenue of $1.9 Million and operating expenses of $1.3 Million, is excited to bring on a dedicated fundraising professional to expand the organization’s capacity and better serve the growing number of uninsured in the community.

Founded in 2015 out of an incredible need for healthcare access in Clarkston, Mosaic Health Center has since provided healthcare services to a diverse group of over 9,000 individuals with a focus on being patient centered and culturally competent. Today, Mosaic Health Center operates with a talented and diverse team of staff and volunteers who collectively speak 13 languages and have extensive medical experience.
“The rising costs of healthcare are leaving our communities in crisis,” said Antonetti. “I’m excited to dedicate my professional expertise to provide the uninsured in our community access to the compassionate care they need. After hearing about how Mosaic has helped thousands of patients navigate cancer, manage diabetes, and maintain their health, I’m inspired to cultivate a robust portfolio of resources to support our patients and fill a massive need right here in Metro Atlanta.”
Antonetti earned her Master of Arts in Nonprofit Management and Leadership and her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, both from The University of Georgia. A Rotary International member and recognized as ‘35 Under 35’ young professional by the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, Antonetti brings her national, regional, and local experience of fundraising and relationship cultivation to Mosaic at a time of pivotal growth for the organization.
“My dad is from Stone Mountain,” shared Antonetti. “I have countless childhood memories in the area, so working in Clarkston feels right at home.”
“We are thrilled to have Maria join our team and continue expansive growth into our second decade of service. Our core belief at Mosaic Health Center is that healthcare is a human right,” said Jeremy Cole, Executive Director of Mosaic Health Center. “Thanks to the generous support of donors and dedicated volunteers, for over 10 years we’ve impacted the lives of those within our community, showing them dignity and compassion through our services.”
